Ashes in Jewellery
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the jewellery made?
We carefully place a small amount of your loved one's ashes between layers of specialist glass. The glass is then kiln-fired at high temperatures to permanently encapsulate the ashes within the glass. The finished piece is set into your chosen jewellery design.
How can I be sure the ashes used are my loved ones ?
As a small business I only work on one item at a time ensuring the ashes sent are the ashes used. We provide a certificate stating a promise that the ashes inside the glass are the ashes used in your jewellery.
Do you use resin?
No. We use real kiln-fired glass, not resin. Our glass process creates a durable, high-quality finish that will not yellow over time like some resin products can.
How much ashes do you need?
Only a very small amount is required, usually around half a teaspoon or less. Any unused ashes are respectfully returned with your completed order.
Can pet ashes be used?
Yes. We can create memorial jewellery using the ashes of beloved pets as well as family members.
Can I mix ashes ?
Yes all ashes can be mixed together to create one item.
I have had me ashes for years can they still be used ?
Yes there is no time limit on the use of ashes.

Will I see the ashes in the finished piece?
Yes. Depending on the colour chosen, the ashes will appear as delicate flecks or patterns within the glass, making each piece completely unique.
How long does it take?
Most orders are completed within 3–6 weeks from receiving the ashes.
Is the jewellery waterproof?
Yes. The ashes are permanently sealed within the glass. However, we recommend removing jewellery before swimming, bathing, or using harsh chemicals to keep it looking its best.
Can I wear my memorial jewellery every day?
Yes. Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear, although we recommend treating it with the same care you would any treasured piece of jewellery.
Can you use hair or fur ?
No, Sorry we cant use hair or fur as the tempetures used to melt glass would not allow.
